Guest Wifi Portal
SocialSign.In is a guest WiFi platform with a powerful product, but because the captive portal experience was outdated and lacked easy customization, it was difficult for prospective clients to see themselves using the product. I was tasked with reimagining that experience. Putting myself in the customer’s shoes, I created a user-focused solution that allowed clients the ability to easily tailor their product experience. The scope of the project included landing pages, interstitial pages, forms, waivers, and marketing smart-card experiences. Thanks to the new template for custom product experience I created, clients could see themselves using the product, which led to a higher closed percentages for sales and increased account expansion opportunities.
By framing the challenges as opportunities, we positioned ourselves to innovate rather than solve for a quick fix.
We expanded on viable concepts with ideation sessions to outline, sketch, and wireframe out each solution to define the scope, weight, and cost.
We developed working prototypes with multiple rounds of testing and refinement.
